Pick Up and Delivery

You can take advantage of Walmart’s Everyday Low Prices and save time on your shopping with our pickup and delivery service. Simply place an order online, choose a timeslot, and an associate will gather your items and place them in bags. When your order is ready, we'll send a Ready for Pickup email if you’ve chosen to pick up from your local store or your order can be delivered right to your door.

Pickup Orders

To check-in online or the app:

  • Open the app or email.
    • You can also use the link in your text message.
  • Select I’m on my way.
  • Once you’ve checked in, head to the store and park in one of the Curbside Pickup parking spots.
  • When you arrive, select I’ve parked.
  • Enter the spot number and color of the vehicle.
  • A Walmart associate will bring your order to you.
  • If you’re having issues checking in from the Walmart app, you can use the store check-in steps.

    To check-in at the store:

  • Use one of the Curbside Pickup parking spots.
  • Call the phone number on the parking sign or in your confirmation email.
  • A Walmart associate will bring your order to you.
  • Delayed or Canceled Pickup Orders

    Our goal is to get your order to you as quickly as possible.

    Before you contact customer care for a delayed or cancel order, be sure to:

  • Wait for the Ready for Pickup notification.
  • Use our check-in option before you leave for the store and when you arrive.
  • Call the store if you've received the notification and checked in before you arrived and are still experiencing a delay. You'll find the phone number in our app or when you arrive at the pickup location.

    Select the Chat with us button for any other concerns about wait times.

    Delivery Orders

    To see if your address qualifies for delivery:

  • Sign into your account or create an account.
  • Select How do you want your items?
  • Select Delivery.
    • If delivery isn’t available, you’ll see one of two notifications:
      • Delivery isn’t available from your store. We can deliver your order from a nearby store.
      • Delivery is not available for this address.
  • Choose a timeslot.
  • An associate will gather your items and place them in bags.
  • When your order is ready, we'll send a Ready for Pickup email if you’ve chosen to pick up from your local store or your order can be delivered right to your door.

Delivery of Your Order

A local, third-party delivery driver will bring your order right to your door. After the driver picks up your order, you'll get a notification letting you know the driver is on their way. In some cases, the delivery can take up to two hours to get to you.

If you select, I’ll sign for my order, this will require you to provide a pin or signature when the driver delivers your order. A pin may also be required for certain orders or high value items. You’ll be notified at checkout if this is required.

  • Once the order is out for delivery, the four-digit passcode will show under the tracking status bar under Order Details. You can also view the pin when selecting Track Order.
  • If your order is being delivered to someone else, you’ll need to provide the recipient with the pin for a successful delivery.

Delayed or Canceled Delivery Orders

If there’s a delay in your InHome delivery, you may get an email, text message, or push notification inviting you to update your InHome order with the following options:

  • Rescheduling your InHome delivery
  • Switching it to pickup
  • Canceling your InHome delivery

if your InHome order gets canceled, you won't be charged for the order.

Delayed or Canceled InHome Delivery Orders

If there’s a delay with your InHome delivery, you may get an email, text message, or push notification inviting you to:

  • Reschedule your InHome delivery.
  • Switch it to pickup.
  • Cancel your InHome delivery.

If your InHome order is canceled, we won’t charge you for the order.
